Application Procedure

All applications are received and reviewed by the administration and approval is granted on an individual basis.  New families must meet with the Office Manager / Principal prior to enrollment.  Unless notified otherwise, children are accepted for enrollment when all enrollment requirements have been completed and families have been notified, including payment of necessary fees and tuition.

No registration is complete for any student until the submission of a completed enrollment form, all requested documents, and payment of all fees.  Application, registration and testing fees are non-refundable.

Students entering grades K-5 must provide copies of the most recent report card and achievement test results in order to be considered for admission.  All transfer students must submit evidence of grade placement and are required to furnish a transcript of academic performance from previous schools.  All new students in grades K-5 are required to take an admission test.  The results will be used in determining acceptance. Tests will be administered upon payment of the registration fee.  Should the student not be accepted, the registration fee (less $50) will be refunded.

A child may be refused admission for any of the following reasons:

•    Child has severe discipline problems
•    Child has been evaluated as having learning disabilities (the school is NOT equipped or staffed to handle learning disabilities)
•    It has been determined that Cross & Crown School is unable to provide a suitable learning environment for the child
•    There are no openings in the class
•    Child with medical concerns that require special equipment and/or medication, etc.
•    Faculty and administration have determined that the school is not the best environment for the child.
