Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive

Again this year, we are partnering with Cross & Crown Lutheran Church and Chamblee First United Methodist Church for a Canned Food Drive. For the last 31 years, locally sponsored canned food donations have helped provide families in need with a Thanksgiving meal delivered to their home! Our goal this year is even greater than years past. We want to help 200 families in need within our surrounding community. That would be over 750 people!

All of the families in need are identified by the local school system or through our own church/school family.

You can help with canned donations! Suggested donations include: Canola oil, dried beans, boxed dessert mixes, sugar, coffee, canned peas & beans, canned tomatoes, rice, jelly, peanut butter, canned yams, instant potatoes, mixed veggies, soups/broths, canned fruit, mayonnaise, canned corn, juice, and canned meats. You can bring the items to the school any school day until November 17 at noon! At noon, we will load our vans and deliver everything to Chamblee United Methodist Church where baskets will be prepared for delivery.
