DeKalb County Fire Department’s Dalmatian is coming to Cross & Crown!

On Monday, October 11, at 10 AM, the students of Cross & Crown will participate in a fire safety program utilizing the resources of DeKalb County Fire Department. The Dalmatian Education Program is designed to teach elementary children (Pre-K thru 2nd grade) about fire safety using a specially trained Dalmatian. Topics covered include how to crawl low under smoke, how to crawl through and to a door, and how to stop, drop, and roll. Children are encouraged to verbally and physically participate in order to enhance their abilities to recall and retain information presented to them.

The students will have a great time in learning about these important topics! Ask your student to tell you about it! You might learn something important, too!
